Work Experience / Placements
With regard to work placements and vacancies, at various times of the year opportunities arise for students to assist a Consultant at a Client's wedding in order to gain first-hand knowledge and wedding experience. Such positions will only be offered to students that are on course for a Distinction (A/B+ grade work) for they will already possess a clear insight into how we approach and manage a client's Brief.
For 2010, we are delighted to announce that have just launched a venue search service, conducted by students under the guidance of a Tutor. It is expected that this service will enable students to start getting paid for their work.
Brides on a Budget
And last year we commenced a new free wedding planning service for brides - a Student Consultancy Service for ‘Brides on a Budget’. Couples looking for some assistance with their wedding will be able to register with us so that we can match their requirements with a suitably skilled student – thereby giving the student a greater chance to put their skills and knowledge into invaluable practice.
